Description

Elbow orthosis composed by a rigid frame and elbow joints to avoid medial/lateral motion and apply guided flexion and/or extension of the lower arm. The orthosis has bilateral unicentric joints connected to shells covering the upper arm and forearm. Material of the shells rigid (thermo)plastic or leather. The joints may include stops for restriction of flexion and/or extension.
Prefabricated.

Ulcers at the area where the orthosis fits.
Anatomically fixed elbow joint.
