Description

Orthosis designed for correcting scoliosis of the spine. Consists of a moulded plastic or leather pelvic girdle moulded from a model of the patient, with a metal frame consisting of three uprights and neck ring, designed for control the thoracic and cervical area of the spine.
One or more additional posterior supports can be added for correcting scoliosis, like axillar sling, kyphosis pad floating, lumbar bolster pad, lumbar bolster rib pad, thoracic pad, trapezius sling, outrigger, bilateral outrigger with vertical extensions, lumbar sling, ringe flange, etc.
Prefabricated adapted to a model of the patient.

Orthosis to correct passively and actively and to prevent increase of severe (high thoracic) scoliosis in case operative treatment is not yet or not at all applicable or necessary enabling daily activities in order to participate in society.
