Description

Orthosis supposed to stabilise and align fractures by containment on a temporary basis during the healing process. Also is the knee fixed by containment.
Includes adjustable knee joints where motion can be increased during the healing process.

Made with metal joints/bars and plastic containers to support the thigh and/or leg.
May also include a foot part as a sole or inner sandal with an ankle joint.
Moulded from a model of the patient, includes casting and cast preparation or moulded directly on the patient from low temperature thermoplastics..
