Description

Static orthosis to stabilise fractures or weak joints. Usually for temporary use by growing fractures, unstable or painful joints.
Is normally to be used without a shoe; the user steps on the orthosis itself.
Depending on the place of the fracture, (a part of) the foot may be immobilised in the orthosis.
Different versions exist, such as:
* plastic with rubber sole
* plastic with metal and rubber sole
* two plastic shells with fasteners
