Description

Dynamic orthotic device to assist in standing and moving forward by rotation at one hip after stabilisation of the knee and ankle joints, always bilateral. Rotation in one hip forces reciprocal rotation in the other hip.
Includes a metal pelvis band, special hip joints, vertical lateral uprights.
Normal use at children in growth but also at adults.
Custom fitted and built on a model of the patient.

Stabilisation of joints in order to stand and to walk some steps. The standing has mainly a therapeutic function.
To be applied in case the prefabricated version does not fit due to impairments of body functions and/or structures.
