Description

Orthosis to stabilise the hip, knee and ankle joints, normally by locking the joints. Functions as static device during walking and standing. Most often as bilateral device. Normal use is for children during growth.

Different versions exist, such as:
* metal joints, bars and cuffs from leather or synthetic lining and straps on a metal sole inside the shoes
* metal joints, bars and cuffs with leather or synthetic lining and straps on a inner sandal inside the shoe
* metal joints, bars and cuffs with leather or synthetic lining and straps attached to the shoe.
Additional thoracic support including para-spinal and/or lateral uprights between pelvic and thoracic bands.
* metal joints with plastic cuffs and straps on a plastic foot piece inside the shoe
* metal joints with plastic cuffs and straps attached to the shoe
