Description

Modular orthosis composed by a scapular pad connected to a pelvic band to carry the weight of the arm. Metal components together with an elbow joint offer rigid guidance to the arm. The hand rests in a grasp position in the distal part of the orthosis. The orthosis is connected to the arm at the wrist, the upper arm and the forearm. Custom fitted over a model of the patient.
The orthosis compensates for weak muscle activity.
